With the support of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the International Green STEAM Azerbaijan Festival will be held in the Baku Expo Center on October 24-25, organized by the STEAM Azerbaijan project.
The purpose of the festival is to promote STEAM-based education, develop 21st century skills among students, identify creative students, as well as to hold the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 29) in Azerbaijan and to celebrate the 2024 In connection with the announcement of the year of solidarity for the sake of a green world, it is to encourage the development of innovative solutions and projects for the effective use of water resources and alternative energy sources, environmental health by applying the STEAM-based approach.
It should be noted that the STEAM Azerbaijan Festival was organized for the first time on December 9-10, 2021.
STEAM education method is a combined organization of 5 main disciplines. It is based on the idea of teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics in a joint and integrated manner.
Students of all general, vocational, secondary and higher education institutions operating in the country have the right to participate in various categories in the form of teams in competitions held within the framework of the festival. After the announcement of the date of the start of registration for participation in the festival, the teams get acquainted with the rules for the relevant categories and can fill out the registration form on the official website of the festival for the category they want to apply for.
