Zagatala STEAM Center is ready for operation.

On November 28, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev visited Zagatala region.

Within the framework of the visit, the opening ceremony of the STEAM Center was held at Zagatala City Secondary School No. 1 named after Zafar Murtuzaliyev.

The Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, who participated in the opening ceremony, got acquainted with the conditions created for students at the Center.

It was reported that the Center has a regional nature. In addition to the said school, students and teachers of other schools of the region will be able to use the opportunities created in the center.


It should be noted that the STEAM project, which currently covers more than 100,000 students across the country, is planned to be expanded in the next academic year.

The purpose of the project is to form critical, creative thinking, cooperation and other 21st century skills in students, to create an opportunity to learn through a creative process. Also, the goals of the project are to combine subjects in a single learning model based on applications in the direction of solving integrative, real problems, and to improve the ability to use modern ICT equipment by applying different programming languages.
